BCR expands Nascar Canada Involvement
After a successful entry into the Nascar Canada racing series in 2025, we are pleased to announce that we are expanding our program with a second race car. We will be focusing on the road course events again this year, which for 2026 amount to 6 fantastic events, including being the support series for the new Markham Indy Car race. Strong Series Debut at Mosport
Nascar Test Debut
BC Racecars has arrived to Nascar Canada. We have complete rollout our first rollout test with very strong results. Our pace puts us right on the door step of the top 5 last year, and the whole team is long forward to our first race in the series!
We hate to stay “if only” but in motorsports sometimes it happens. From the drop of the green flag the car was extremely strong. Josh was able to move up into the top ten. Then came the time for the teams first live pit stop in Nascar, and they NAILED it. Moving up a few more spots. Running a different strategy than the field, Josh nursed the older tires to P6 and was closing back on the leaders when damage from earlier contact became catastrophic. The right rear hub failed, leaving wheel barely staring on the car, and the brakes being a big problem. Josh still nursed the car home to P11 for BC Racecars first Nascar race. We have some lessons learned, but we’re already fast, so looking for a top 5 next time out!
